The company I work for has specific Word templates for each doctor. In the visual basic we have been instructed to put in a code (called autoclose) for the Normal document. I thought that the Normal needed to be named macro-enabled due to this autoclose programing in the visual basic part of the template. I could be wrong, however. I noticed that if I save the Normal as a macro-enabled template it has a yellow exclamation mark on it. Also I seem to loose the code when I type a letter in the specific doctor's template. (These doctor's templates are rather elaborate and I tried to explain the way they are designed to Cheryl once before, but was unable to clearly do so. The company will not allow me to send anyone else a sample template, of course, which I understand.) I also create my Normal template to be compatible with Word 2003, as apparently, the company is still using Word 2003.
What I am asking here, is why is there a yellow exclamation mark on my Normal template?
