Cap problem

I am using MP Lite with MW 2003. I have a template that pulls the patient’s first name from the header. There is a space and the “@” sign. I hit Ctrl Shift J which takes me to the @ sign and I start transcribing. The problem I am having is the first word after the patient’s name is being capitalized about 90% of the time. I have checked my settings and can find no reason for it to have started doing this. There is no rhyme or reason. Sometimes the same word has is capitalized and sometimes not. Please, can you solve this problem? I checked with MP Lite and it is not an issue with them. Thank you.
