Using MP Lite I have set up a template. Centered at the top of the page is the patient name. I pull this from a database and it drops it into my template. Directly under that is Page and the actual number will be added manually later. I then have four returns and the date, which also is added by MP lite. Another return and the patient’s first name, which MP lite adds from the first line. A space and then the @ sign. Typically, in the past, I add the patient name in the database or pull it from past dictation and the MP lite program does the rest. Once the document opens I hit Ctrl Shift J and it puts me on the @ sign and I start typing. In the past this all worked out fine. Now it is capitalizing the first letter but not all the time. That is what is so confusing. I cannot figure out anything consistent. Word did not do this in the past. What stumps me is there is no consistency. Some time it caps words like “has” and other times it works perfectly. I unchecked the auto correct options and I still have the problem leading me to believe it has to be somewhere else. I would think the @ sign would cause it NOT to cap the next word. Any ideas? I hope I explained this right. This is an awesome program and usually works great with MW and IT.
