The expansions l for left and r for right have disappeared

I recently bought a new HP desktop computer and installed the Windows 7 upgrade (on top of the Vista that came loaded in the computer) and notice that when I installed InstantText Pro V and my glossaries, for some reason the l for left and r for right abbreviations are no longer there. Weren't they built into InstantText or is my memory failing me? Thanks in advance for your reply.
