Regarding nonfunctioning of Add To dictionary

This happens sometimes that Add to Dictionary no longer happens. This might because of ms word corrupting or ms word malfunctioning when the power suddenly goes or load shedding...........i too suffered similar problems few days back, had to reinstall MS office and then started working again, but yes, CURSE, whole modifications that i have in my earlier MS word were permanently deleted and had to readjust to new one and whole additions and settings had to be made from scratch again.
