Spell Check

I can only re-create this problem with running Spell Check. I tried all combinations of settings and no matter what, when I ran the Spell Check it would reset these abbreviations to all caps.

If you want to try working without running Spell Check at the end of a document, go to TOOLS, PROOFREAD and turn on SPELL-AS-YOU-GO. Words not recognized by the dictionary will be underlined for you to spot them.

If you need to run Spell Check, then input those abbreviations in QUICK WORDS (not Quick Correct) and run the macro EXPNDALL.WCM after you have run Spell Check.

An alternate solution for some abbreviations is an apostrophe -- BM's, TM's, etc. This will not work for KCl, but it will help with many.
