The dominant change in IT III is choices.

IT now gives the user many more choices and many more features than ever before. Some of these features are superficial such as changing the colors or the fonts and font size of the IT interface window. Other choices are much more significant such as allowing the user to expand with the space bar.

We can now type a line number to select an advisory entry in addition to scrolling down with the shift key. We can expand formatted entries without having to use macros. The Importer and glossary creation functions have been modified and are now more powerful than ever before.
