Using Glossary Includes for Specialtiesby ToniAnn Ranieri |
Working for a large hospital, I like the fact that I can have different glossaries for different specialties. I have my main large glossary, and with the new Includes feature, I have now created a separate glossary for OB/GYN, cardiology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, surgery, etc.
With the Includes feature I can still use my main glossary with the abbreviations I'm familiar with, but include the specialized glossary when working with that particular specialty, without ever changing my main glossary. Helps keep the main glossary from becoming too large - yet I can get very detailed with each of the subspecialties.
