Instant Text Assistive Features

Helps One-Finger Typists

Many slow typists are one-finger typists, and all one-finger typists are slow by definition. The conventionally-used keyboard was designed for use by all the fingers of two hands.

Using a pointer or a mouse for communications is the same as one-finger typing. And many people with hand mobility constraints are one-fingered, or one mouse click, typists.

An expander system, and especially an advanced high-tech expander system like Instant Text, can provide substantial help for one-finger typists.

Instant Text Assistive will give one-finger typists the ability to communicate faster, to participate appropriately in interactive resources, and successfully apply other skills to a work environment. Slow typists who use more than one finger will greatly increase their speed.

Remember, Instant Text was originally designed for some of the fastest typists in the world, to help them go faster still. No matter how you type, Instant Text can help you speed up significantly.

We have designed an on-screen keyboard essentially one-finger (or stylus, or head-pointer) input. The letters are arranged in a different pattern which requires minimum hand (mouse) movement going from one letter to the next.

It is called Fitaly - named afer the second row. A more complete discussions of Fitaly is at this link.
