The Open... menu item of the File Menu lets you select an existing text file to load into the built-in editor window. The name of the file is displayed in the Instant Text caption.
The selection of the file to load uses a File Open dialog box with the following list of file types:
| Rich Text Format | (*.rtf) | Lists all files in the current folder that were saved with the .rtf extension. |
| Text Only | (*.txt) |
Lists all files in the current folder that were saved with the .txt extension. |
| All Files | (*.*) | Lists all files in the current folder. |
You can create new text files with the New menu item
of
the File Menu.
