Measure Productivity

Starting the Productivity tools displays two sets of productivity numbers. The Session column records keystrokes and savings for the current session. The History column provides this data for as far back as you wish – until you click on Reset History.

The Percent Saved is equal to the Keystrokes Saved divided by the Characters Obtained.
The Productivity Gain is equal to the Keystrokes Saved divided by the Keystrokes Typed.

The Characters per Keystroke are obtained by dividing the Characters Obtained by the Keystrokes Typed. As you can see in the example, tool tips reminding you of these definitions are displayed when you move the mouse pointer over each label.
