The easiest way to highlight a given advisory line is to type its line number.
By adding more letters to the abbreviation, you can narrow the choice until the desired word or phrase appears highlighted on the first line in the corresponding advisory.
You can also move the highlight using the Shift and Ctrl keys.
Pressing the Shift key alone once moves the highlight down one line. Whenever you reach the bottom line of an advisory, the next Shift moves the highlight to the top line.
Pressing the Ctrl key alone once moves the highlight up. Whenever you reach the top line of an advisory, the next Ctrl moves the highlight to the bottom line.
Note that to use the Shift and Ctrl keys to move the highlight, you need to make sure that Sticky Keys are disabled in the Control Panel:
In the Accessibility Options for Windows XP.
In the Ease of Access Center for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Finally, you can also use the mouse and click on the desired line.
On a pen system, the fastest way is simply to tap the pen on the desired line.
