Inserting last item copied instead of shortcut

Hi! New user here - I type medical reports and I have a couple shortcuts and when I try to use them it inserts the last thing I copied instead of the phrase for my shortcut. Example - shortcut is rnn - it should insert "Received in formalin in a container labeled with the patient's name and" - but instead it inserts RSJP-23-1234. The is for "received" I think but the rest is the case# I copied to from Inscribe and pasted into SoftPath.
A couple of us have been trying to figure this out. I deleted the #snippet file because we thought it was that but it still does it. So I put the #snippet file back in place.
Can anyone suggest anything to correct this? I don't want to keep having to change my shortcuts.
Also, if it makes any difference, my main glossary I use was imported from PCShorthand.
