That's great to know that you can reprogram the keys on your Advantage keyboard. The place where I saw your comment about the Resume key was in this message thread between you and Emmanuel:
"How to select text and then add to current glossary in one command"
From reading the thread, it looks like you got your issue worked out where you could use the Shift key to complete the expansion, which was great. But if there are other spots where you use the Resume and find it slows you down because it's harder to reach on your keyboard (especially with the function keys being so small), you might like the option of remapping the backtick-tilde key to be F8 (while leaving the actual F8 as Resume as well).
If you do that via the keyboard software, hopefully, the only functionality you would lose is the backtick, and Shift+backtick should still yield the tilde. You could then program (still via the keyboard) Alt+backtick to churn out the backtick. If that doesn't work, AutoHotkey is another option for remapping it, and those instructions are in the Google Drive folder. You might find that you like using the remapped tilde key for Resume better than using the Shift key when you use the add-to-glossary expansion. Just a thought!
Thanks for the update. It made my day to know that it worked and was easy to get it going! 😉
