IT and Meditech

I have been using Meditech with IT for a while now. Recently I have run into a problem being able to get certain phrases to expand if they are too long. I have not changed the phrases or done anything different in IT that I am aware of. It is very frustrating because it seems that anything over 7 words will not expand. I would like some input as to what I am overlooking.
