Reopen Glossary Command

I have the reopen glossary command unchecked in the Options/Usage box and it does not automatically reopen the file. I even set up my two most frequently added to glossaries included in each other so that way no matter which file is active when I add to it should automatically be updated without having to go to the Reopen command. This does not seem to be working for me. What am I doing wrong?
