Make sure your field code contains {End}

Your entry should look like this in the Glossary entry window:

{command}My dog likes to eat his dinner right before going to bed for the night in his wonderful doghouse outside.

The airplane took off at {Ctrl F9}{End} before he could catch the taxi from the office. {PageUp}_

The jump entry should look like this:

{command}{F11}_

If they don't, you can copy them like this into the Add Glossary Entry window and assign the short forms of your choice.
