Dedicated short forms
I do use primarily dedicated short forms and rarely look down at the advisories. Even for short forms which have more than one corresponding long form, I remember to add the digit after the short form I've memorized. However, I realize this doesn't work for every MT. I do have the "gift" of a good memory, and my experience of beginning with PRD and its limitations also has determined how I use IT. That's the wonderful thing about IT: MTs who remember incredible numbers of dedicated entries realize increased productivity as well as MTs who allow technology to "work for them". It's all in how we started and how we work best. Sharon
