Searching for files by a word or phrase within the file

I am now using Windows XP Professional and WP11. I am getting no results when I try searching files and folders for a specific word or phrase (such as a patient's name). I previously had Windows Millenium and WP9, and this worked easily. I have tried various search options but still come up with nothing. Thanks!
