Instant Text 7: End of Life

Dear Instant Text 7 users,

We're writing to inform you about an important update regarding our software. After careful consideration and evaluation of our product roadmap, we have made the decision to announce the end of life for Instant Text Version 7 in June 2025.

Timeline for Instant Text 7 End of Life

What does end of life mean?

If you continue to use Instant Text 7 after support has ended, it will still work, but it may become more vulnerable to bugs, security risks and viruses. Textware will no longer provide the following support for your business.

No technical support

No software updates

No security updates

What should you do next?

If you are currently using Instant Text 7, we recommend upgrading to version 8 or 9 which use the same underlying new technology:

• Instant Text 8 is the direct successor of Instant Text 7.
• Instant Text 9 introduces a new concept where the Word and Phrase tables have been merged into a single Expansion table.
