Instant Text 9 introduces a new concept where Words and Phrases are displayed in a single table, whereas Instant Text 8 is the direct successor of Instant Text 7.
If you have worked with previous versions of Instant Text, you will see that all the main concepts and underlying components that are familiar to you are still there. Below, you will find a quick overview of the major enhancements.
The glossary format has changed. Glossaries are now saved in an xml format with the .xglo extension.

When Pick Lists are displayed, you can narrow down the choices to items starting with a given letter by typing that initial letter, and then even further by typing subsequent letters of the displayed forms. This makes it possible to have a lot longer pick lists.
