Compiling an Ansi Text File

Four steps to compile an Ansi text file:

1.

First define the Compilation Rules:

  • 2.

Choose the GO button to start the compilation.

This starts a four-phase compilation of a glossary. The progress of each phase is indicated on a progress bar and compilation can be interrupted at any time by clicking on the Cancel button.

When compilation ends, the Glossary Statistics are displayed.

  • If you are not pleased with the resulting glossary, you can change the Compilation Rules and redo this step 2.

  • Otherwise, proceed to step 3.

3.

Click on Save Glossary to save the newly compiled glossary.

This opens a dialog similar to the Save As command dialog of the Glossary menu.

4.

Choose the Close button to end the compilation dialog.
