You can't possibly go wrong with Instant Text
Just putting in my two cents in here (or probably more like 50 cents)... I too was a diehard PRD+ user and absolutely loved it, to say the very least. I tried Instant Text a number of years ago (I think it was one of the very first versions) and back then, Instant Text did not do some of the things that I could do in PRD.
