Autocorrect (MS Word) question - new to IT.

I just got IT Pro.

Have read about half of what is on the forum and some of the book so far.

Forgive me if the answer is there somewhere.

My initial question is: When I start using InstantText, what will happen to my 400 or so Autocorrects that I am accostomed to using in Microsoft word? Do they still work?

Can I still put hsmx and get hepatosplenomegaly, still put cabgg and get coronary artery bypass graft? That sort of thing.

That is my primary question for now.

I printed out lots of the posts, to help me think about getting started.
