I'm having a great deal of trouble setting up Word 2007 for my transcription. In Word 2002, I make the background blue and use white font to avoid the glare. When I transmit the letters, though, they always came out in normal form, white with black font. It seems I can't do that in Word 2007, Vista. You need to go into "layout," select a color and then you have the format, but it seems to stay with the document when it's trasmitted.
On my first transmission to my doctor, all my letters came out blue. How embarrassing? Is there anyone out there who can help. Spent hours working with techs and no one seems to know the answer.
