Instant Text in Built-in Editor Layout includes a rich text editor similar to Microsoft WordPad, which can be used for typing documents that do not require the powerful set of features of word processors such as Word or WordPerfect – but with Intant Text's powerful abbreviation expansion ability.
In the Built-in Editor Layout, you can type in the editor window and expand abbreviations displayed in the advisories. In this layout, Instant Text does not expand in Client Applications. The Alt+/ shortcut makes it easy to switch back to the Client Layout. For this reason, the built-in editor can be used as a kind of secondary clipboard for storing short notes and lists of words.
