Icon Bar

The Icon Bar is displayed in Built-in Editor Layout across the top of the Instant Text window, below the menu bar:

It provides quick mouse access to frequently used actions.

To hide or display the Icon Bar, you can choose the Icon Bar menu item from the View Menu.

Effect of clicking on icons

Click	To
	Open an existing text file. Instant Text displays the Open dialog box, in which you can locate and open the desired file.
	Save the current text of the editor window with its current name. If you have not named it, Instant Text displays the Save As dialog box.
	Hide or show the Word Advisory.
	Hide or show the Phrase Advisory.
	Hide or Show the Glossary List.
	Set horizontal advisories at the bottom of the built-in editor.
	Set horizontal advisories at the top of the built-in editor.
	Set vertical advisories at the left of the built-in editor.
	Set vertical advisories at the right of the built-in editor.
	Switch Instant Text to Client Layout - The Switch Button.
	Toggle automatic capitalization on and off.
	Toggle automatic spacing on and off.
