The Word Advisory is a table that displays words that match the letters you typed.
The abbreviation you type, in the example below pam, is displayed in the left column under the Short label and the corresponding words are listed in the right column under the Words label:
Note that you can configure your Word Advisory not to show the Short column using the Advisory Details Options Dialog:
In the Advisory Options Dialog, you can specify:
The minimum number of letters a word glossary entry must have to be displayed in the Word Advisory.
The minimum number of letters you need to type before choices are displayed in the Word Advisory.
Note that these settings don't affect entries of the Singles Glossary which are the only Word Entries that can be abbreviated using a single character.
The words that start with the abbreviation, the traditional left-to-right completion, are displayed first and ordered alphabetically:
