Command Window Toggle Focus

The ToggleFocus command enables to toggle the focus between:

the Current Client Application
and Instant Text.

Example

When you first install Instant Text the Hotkey Glossary comes with an included hotkey glossary named switch_focus_with_control_slash.xglo with the following Toggle Focus Hotkey:

Ctrl /	{ToggleFocus}

Having a dedicated Toggle Focus Hotkey is essential. When you want to access the Instant Text menus without using the mouse, it acts as a bridge between the current client application and Instant Text.

With the Ctrl / Toggle Focus hotkey you can, for example, open the Glossary Menu by typing Ctrl / and then Ctrl G or combine the two steps and type Ctrl /G (hold the Ctrl key and type / and then G).
