Toggle Focus Hotkey

A Toggle Focus Hotkey is a Hotkey Glossary Entry that enables you to toggle the focus between Instant Text and the Current Client Application.

By default, Ctrl / is the Toggle Focus Hotkey.

It is defined as follows, using the Toggle Focus command:

You may of course edit the Hotkey Glossary and define another Toggle Focus hotkey.

Having a dedicated Toggle Focus Hotkey is essential. When you want to access the Instant Text menus without using the mouse, it acts as a bridge between the current client application and Instant Text.

With the Ctrl / Toggle Focus hotkey, you can for example open the Glossary Menu by typing Ctrl / and then Ctrl G or combine the two steps and type Ctrl /G (hold the Ctrl key and type / and then G).
