Best way to import a particular glossary?

I have a text document of a huge list of bacteria names, that I got a long time ago from another MT, way before I started using Instant Text. I'd like to import it as a glossary, and I know how to do that, but I'd like to have all the short forms start with "bb." I've imported it once with no problem and IT gave it 2-letter short forms. How could I go about getting a "bb" in front of those 2 letters using WordPad or NotePad (not manually - this is a LONG list)! I see the find and replace posts, but I wouldn't really be replacing anything, if you know what I mean?
