The Instant Text submenu of the Command Menu gives access to several commands which request Instant Text itself to perform a specifc action: when expanding Phrase Entries using these commands, Instant Text talks to Instant Text. :-)
The Load Glossary command loads the specified glossary in the Glossary List. It can also be used to switch to a glossary that is already in the Glossary List. This command is especially useful when you have more than 8 glossaries and cannot access all glossaries using the Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+8 shortcuts. You may use the following command to switch to a glossary named Reference.glo, for example:
{command}{LoadGlossary}C:\InstText\Glossary\Reference.glo{/LoadGlossary}{NoSpacing}
The Close Current Glossary command closes the Current Glossary. It is the same as manually selecting the Close current glossary item of the Glossary Menu.
The View Glossary command opens the specified glossary in the Glossary Viewer.
You can use this command to view a glossary that is not the Current Glossary without the need to switch to it in the Glossary List.
You may also use this command to view your Singles Glossary:
{command}{ViewGlossary}C:\InstText\Glossary\Single10.glo{/ViewGlossary}{NoSpacing}
or
to view your Typo Glossary:
{command}{ViewGlossary}C:\InstText\Glossary\TypoCorrect.glo{/ViewGlossary}{NoSpacing}
The View Current Glossary command opens the Current Glossary in the Glossary Viewer. It is the same action as manually selecting the View current glossary item of the Glossary Menu.
Add Glossary Entry opens the Add Glossary Entry dialog. This gives an alternate way to open this dialog without using the Alt+= keyboard shortcut. With the following command, you can copy the previous word to the clipboard and then open the Add Glossary Entry dialog filled with this word:
{command}{Ctrl Shift Left}{Ctrl C}{AddGlossaryEntry}{NoSpacing}
